The Irwin split-proof pro bevel edge chisels are carbon-rich and manufactured in a solid one-piece forging which is hardened and tempered up to the last inch for long working life. The guaranteed split-proof handles help absorb harmful vibrations. The metal striking caps allows use with a hammer, prolonging the life of the handles and preventing mushrooming.
